Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We will never share your information with a third party unless given permission or permissible by law.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We do not store any of your financial information. Our payment processor is Square, who retains your data. Mogul Chix® will never see it nor have the ability to share it.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

CapFlyte Mobile App Privacy Practices

This section describes the information collected and processed through the CapFlyte mobile application.

Information CapFlyte Collects

Depending on how you use CapFlyte, we may collect and process:

  • Account information, including your name and email address
  • Login and authentication information managed through Firebase Authentication
  • Founder and company profile information, including company name, industry, business stage, revenue, traction, target market, funding goals, and related business information
  • Responses submitted through CapFlyte assessments
  • Pitch deck files and information contained in pitch decks submitted for review
  • Readiness scores, recommendations, roadmaps, reports, and other content generated through the app
  • Subscription and purchase information, including Apple product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, entitlement status, and Pitch Deck Review credit balances
  • Customer-support communications and information voluntarily provided when requesting assistance
  • Limited technical, security, and diagnostic information necessary to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service

How Information Is Used

CapFlyte uses information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Authenticate users and protect account access
  • Maintain founder and company profiles
  • Process assessment responses
  • Generate investment-readiness and Pitch Deck Review reports
  • Save and display previous reports
  • Verify Apple subscriptions and in-app purchases
  • Maintain subscription access and Pitch Deck Review credit balances
  • Respond to customer-support requests
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the operation of CapFlyte
  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations

Artificial Intelligence Processing

CapFlyte uses artificial intelligence to generate educational founder-readiness reports and Pitch Deck Review reports.

When a user requests a report, relevant founder profile information, assessment responses, and, where applicable, information contained in an uploaded pitch deck may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing.

OpenAI processes this information solely to provide the requested AI-generated report to CapFlyte. Users should not submit confidential, restricted, proprietary, or personal information that they are not authorized to share.

CapFlyte-generated reports are educational and strategic in nature and do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, securities, investment, valuation, or financial advice.

Service Providers

CapFlyte uses service providers that may process information as necessary to operate the app. CapFlyte uses Google Firebase to provide account authentication, cloud data storage, database services, and app operations. CapFlyte uses OpenAI to process information users choose to submit for AI-assisted investment-readiness and Pitch Deck Review reports. These providers process information only as needed to provide their respective services. CapFlyte does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

These providers process information according to their applicable terms, privacy policies, and data-protection obligations.

Apple Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple.

Mogul Chix does not directly collect or store users’ payment-card information when subscribing to CapFlyte. Apple provides limited transaction and subscription information needed to verify purchases and provide access to purchased features.

Data Sharing

Mogul Chix (CapFlyte) does not sell personal information.

Mogul Chix (CapFlyte) does not use user information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Information may be disclosed to service providers as described above, when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer permitted by applicable law.

Data Retention

Account information, founder profile information, assessment responses, uploaded materials, reports, and entitlement records may be retained while the user’s account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate business records.

Certain transaction records may be retained when necessary to verify purchases, prevent duplicate credits, address billing disputes, or comply with legal and accounting requirements.

Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their CapFlyte account and associated personal information by using the account-deletion feature available in the app or by contacting CapFlyte Support at info@mogulchix.com.

Some information may be retained when required by law, for transaction verification, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or other legitimate legal obligations.

Data Security

Mogul Chix (CapFlyte) uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

CapFlyte is intended for adult founders and business owners and is not directed to children under the age of 13.

CapFlyte does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
